Gotherington Hedgehog Trail was first set up by The Old Chapel Community Project in 2019 with 88 decorated hedgehogs hidden around Gotherington. Last year we had 215 hedgehogs spread across Gotherington and over to Woolstone, covering almost every road and footpath!

The hedgehogs are designed on templates by children and adults in the village and surrounding areas and then printed onto a composite aluminium by the wonderful team over in Cotswold Printing. Every hedgehog is sponsored by the artist to cover the cost of production, who then get to keep their very special hedgehog as a souvenir at the end of the Trail.

This year the Hedgehog Trail was launched at the end of September 2024 and is running right up until the end of November. The Old Chapel will be open through the Trail for you to collect the stickers in your Trail Guide for finding 50, 100 and 150 hedgehogs, and of course to complete your certificate when you’re found as many as you can!
